We are million miles away from China where the virus started. Like other countries affected by Covid 19, our people also panic
People are hoarding face mask, canned goods, noodles.. And this runs for weeks now.
Update:
There is really a reason to panic. Thousands of covid positive are added everyday. It is the 3rd week of August and cases are adding every day. We are now more than 200k. Had the our government banned the tourist from Wuhan China early on, maybe we will not be in this situation, no 1covid cases in Asia. As early as January 2020, 1st covid positive, a woman from Wuhan with her boyfriend was tested positive. And they travelled to Cebu and Dumaguete. Our government just ignored it. Did not impose ban.. Look were we are now. Every one in panic. Face mask and faceshield from China flooded the stores. I would like to believe the theory that this virus is man made, to make good money out of it
It is so scary now. Our neighbor was tested positive of covid 19, our officemates were also tested postive one died recently and others are still in quarantine. Whoever believes that this Covid 19 is a hoax is in denial of reality.
The more we should cling to our God in this so uncertain time
