Hong Kong

After working in a corporate world for more than 2 decades, now is the time to give myself  a break from the office for a few days!

I decided my first destination to be Hong Kong. We joined a travel club called Dream Trips which gave us own booking engine for domestic and international travels. What’s more amazing with it is that we get to travel luxuriously with a budget of “budget trips.” We get to check in at 4 or 5 star hotels for a very minimal budget.

Our travel date was from February 28 to March 4, 2016. Here are snippets from our trip:

Day 1

We arrived at the airport and had a hotel transfer at 12:00 nn. It was very convenient that the “you should be here” sign (also the brand slogan) was very visible, so we did not spend a lot of time looking for a representative to meet us.

Welcome gifts from Dream Trips

Checking in our room, a pile of welcome gifts were on the bed for the travel club members. There were wine, journal sets, gadget pouches, and a lot of other stuff. We haven’t started our trip yet but we already know how thoughtful the club is.

We had a welcome dinner at 7 pm to meet other travel club members. There were games and a little program. There was even a cake for those who celebrate birthdays on February.

Day 2

Day 2: Full day at Ocean Park starting at 9 am
Complimentary dinner at Neptune Restaurant

Day 3

For Platinum members like us, we get to have a half day tour on our 3rd day at The Peak and Madame Tussauds. This comes with a free dimsum lunch at the Jumbo floating restaurant.

That ends ou Hongkong trip! We only spent 109 USD or Php 5, 000 approximately for everything excluding our airfare. That includes our 3 night stay at a 4 star hotel with free full meals. Thank you Dream Trips!
