Applying for renewal of Philippine passport is easy. I just filled up the form, presented my old passport together with a valid ID and it only took 30 minutes to process. It was the second Saturday of December so I thought there would be a long line in the DFA Legazpi in Albay but we were very lucky that there were less than 10 of us .
After paying, I waited for 15 days and the passport was delivered directly to my residence just in time for my booking of my 1st Asian travel. For those who would like to know the specific requirements in applying for a new passport or renewal, please visit http://www.dfa.gov.ph
I think I need to update this post. DFA Legazpi is no longer accepting walk in clients. The procedure is like in other DFA offices where the applicant need to have an appointment
